Happy Mothers’ Day!

Happy Mothers’ Day!
Hope you have a lovely day whether you’re a mother (of human or furry children), have a mother, or know someone who is a mother or caregiver.
Blogging has been light as we’ve been caught up in the final stages of planning our yard renovation, and we break ground tomorrow!  We’re very excited; not only will this make our outdoor spaces prettier and more liveable, but the architect we’re working with is really into “green design” so we’ll be conserving water, reducing runoff and utilizing materials for the structures that are made from recycled materials yet have a longer life and require less maintenance than wood.  Photos and updates to follow, and I’ll be putting together some more polyvores with the lovely pieces I picked up with Karen’s help last week.

  1. Happy Mother’s Day. Looking forward to your yard renovation. My backyard is one of my favorite things – I bet you will love what you do.

  2. The yard renovation will be so exciting — we have far less outdoor time, season-wise, than you do, but still our yard repays us very well for every dollar and every minute we spend on it. Can’t wait to see photos of it and I’m also looking forward to next week’s Polyvores.
Meanwhile, have a lovely Mother’s Day with your family.

  3. Happy Mother´s Day! What a wonderful picture on your post today. I remember the time our mare had her `baby´. Nothing is sweeter than a small baby, be it human or an animal baby!

  4. Looking forward to seeing garden pictures … I finally laid lawn a couple of weeks back, but still got a long way to go on my tiny inner city backyard. Patience is a very necessary virtue sometimes, but the rewards are worth it!
