Is it Friday yet?
Oy, what a week. My mind and heart are escaping to Paris. At least we have a long weekend ahead.

Great bootees, we had our holiday weekend last week, enjoy yours.

Enjoy your long weekend. Get some rest. And I think you’re onto something with those shoes. My son said Chukka Boots to me yesterday, and I thought, hmmm, cultural diffusion, this is taking hold:).
So funny! I’ve just finished posting about my own wistful imaginative turn to France . . . .enjoy your weekend.
Really loving these colors… and more of the same that I”m seeing out in the stores.
Planning on adding a touch of burnt sienna or orange to my neutrals this fall… and hoping for somewhere cool to wear them!
Enjoy your weekend.
What a gorgeous handbag – the whole look is so chic.
Have a long and relaxing weekend!
Yummy outfit! I cannot *wait* for some cooler temps, and those booties will be mine. Enjoy your weekend.
The Mulberry bag looks perfect for fall and this casual look says luxe in every detail.
Hope you can snag some time to relax this weekend, an extra day usually makes that doable.
i’d be thrilled if we had weather to go with this ensemble. 🙂
i have those alex & ani bangles! i believe it’s a set of 12. sometimes i usually mix them with other bracelets. i like that they’re adjustable, too.
Hello:
Friday is half over already with us……enjoy a Happy Weekend!!
I love this…now I just need the weather to go with it!! Have a great weekend and if I do win the trip, I for sure want to have lunch!!
Have a restful weekend Pseu!
Beautiful outfit-but i also want the cooler weather to go with it!
@Jane and Lance HattattHope your Friday was an enjoyable one!
@Tabitha
Thanks, I love those booties too. Succumbed to them in the shop earlier this week, wore them today. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
@LPCLisa, thanks. MIL came home from hospital today, so we’ll probably be helping her get settled back at home. Desert boots/Chukka boots, yes they’re having a Moment, and have always had a special place in my heart. (L’histoire next week.)
@Pam @ over50feeling40Pam, we’ve been having a blissfully temperate couple of days. Not supposed to last though, next week Mother Nature starts turning up the thermostat. I really hope you win!!!
@materfamiliasMater, that was too funny. I really wish we could coordinate visits! Hope you have a lovely weekend with the family.
@BigLittleWolf
Big Little Wolf, they’re such serene colors, aren’t they? Oh yes, burnt sienna, it’s a wonderful color and on my list.
@adrienne
Adrienne, I’ve been lusting after this bag for a while now. I need to sell some of my current bags first though! Hope your weekend is relaxing as well.
And THANK YOU for your help with the comment reply function!!
@Susan Tiner
Susan, thanks. Not sure how restful it will be, but I do anticipate some organizing and getting all of us ready for Back To School on Tuesday. (My son is the only one in school, but it’s a Group Effort.)
@Patti @ NotDeadYet Style Patti, here it will get warmer before it gets cooler, but I’m also very much looking forward to cooler days. Have a great weekend!
@Laura Laura, thanks and yes, me too!
@hostess of the humble bungalow Hostess, that bag has been on my Lust List for quite some time. I think I need to clear out those bags I’m no longer using and budget for that one. The extra day will be quite welcome.
@style odyssey I really like the bangles. My wrists are so small that I can only wear either hinged or adjustable. You’re in Texas now too, yes? I don’t know how you all deal with that weather.
@Frugal Scholar Welllll, thanks to airline mileage programs, we may have something in the works for next year! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hope you get to Paris in reality soon…
I will join you in fantasy Paris!
@WendyB I never get tired of Paris!
@ida Oh, I’ve drooled over more than one of those Celine coats myself, even though we don’t have a cool enough season here to justify the investment. They are gorgeous though.
We went through a chukka boot period over here,my HB would welcome their return.
Love the colour of the sweater…Celine has a divine structured coat that I crave in her new Winter collection.Ida
@ScottieJ0e I don’t think I could survive those kinds of temperatures on a regular basis! Glad the suggestion of Paris helps.
It’s going to be over a hundred here today. Imagining Paris and fabulous cute boots will make it seem cooler.
I adore the booties. Paris is first on my list of ‘traveling the world by hat shop and milliner!’
The jumper is a bit like my new Isabella Oliver one, now I want a Missoni scarf to go with it!
@The Style Crone Thanks! I’m sure Paris would yield up some millinery treasures!
@Looking Fab in your forties This particular jumper (sweater) is quite out of my price range, (and probably would be WAY too long anyway) but I am on the lookout for something similar. I still am dreaming of a Missoni scarf. We looked while in Italy, but I didn’t find any colors/patterns that were quite “it.”
@metscan
Mette, I’m afraid only the jeans, boots and jewelry are mine. I’m on the lookout for a similar sweater in that color, and would love to find that Missoni scarf.
Are all the things in the picture your´s? If so, well done. Matching together just fine. Your colors, definitely.
The colors in your Polyvore are reminiscent of the sunset (sunrise?) picture in your scenes from Paris slide show. Very nice and soft and lovely together – more inspiration from nature.
@Carol Thanks! That was a sunset, I believe, looking west toward La Tour Eiffel. It’s really amazing to notice the colors and harmony in the world around us.
