  1. LBR – THANKS!!!! 🙂

Metscan – I really hope to. It will depend on the wi-fi connection at the hotel. I know they have it, just not sure whether it’s in the rooms or just the lobby.

shefaly – no London this time, unfortunately. We decided to save London and the rest of the British Isles for its own trip, as we don’t have very many days this time.

materfamilias – I think this will be even better than our first trip, as we now know our way around and have planned our itinerary much more wisely. Last time was fun, but we had some frustrations with clashing priorities. Now we’ve worked it all out ahead of time, and left some time to for impromptu wanderings.

  2. duchesse – actually I did a lot of packing for both of us over the weekend, as this week is quite busy with work and Yom Kippur. Most of what I’m taking doesn’t wrinkle, so no reason to wait until the last minute. And yes it was much easier this time, and I was able to edit much more wisely.

  3. How exciting! Would you consider doing a post showing what you are taking to wear? Pretty please! I always paralyze myself when it comes to the packing bit.

    Lisa P.

  4. Shar – yes, the camera and accoutrements are packed and ready.

LBR – Saw it. Looks like fun!

Anon – absolutely. Believe it or not, we missed going there last year. It’s on the itinerary this time. 😉

Lisa P – I’m already working on a packing post, should have up tomorrow or the next day. Unfortunately I didn’t take pics before I packed most of it, but hopefully my descriptions will suffice.

  5. Looking forward so much to your posts from Paris – I’m going there for a few days on the 16th (just as you leave, I think) so it would be particularly interesting to have your impressions. I live in Europe (well, on the edge – Ireland) so I’m lucky enough to be able to visit quite frequently, but Paris is always a thrill and I have a list a mile long of things to do/see/eat. Have a wonderful time!
