Can’t wait for Nordstrom to open the sale to the public. Zappos has these for $175 and I’m wondering what Nordie’s sale price is. The Munro brand is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. I love the low heel (2.25″) on this one.

They’re priced at $113.90. Just bought them yesterday. 2 other women saw me test walking and tried them on, too!

I bought this Munro sandal last spring, and have loved wearing them. They actually fit me better than the Arche sandal.

More than anything I need a pair of flats that aren’t suede, I keep buying them even though I live in the world’s wettest country.

There is SO much suede this season. It’s frustrating if you’re looking for smooth leather.

Love these – and your blue toes too.

Do you think more suede flats are being made because they are made from a leather than gives–and is more comfortable–and thus more salable?

Usually these style decisions are made because of cost. Its much more likely that the processing of leather into suede is less expensive than more refined highly polished leather, not because it is better. And that if you find leather at a reasonable price, its likely to be “bonded” leather, which is literally sprayed onto a backing, and given a high polish. Do I sound cynical?

Very pretty sandal. The style appeals to me.

I like the fact that these shoes have the look of a high heel from the front, but actually has a heel that is capable of walking around without having to dodge shabby paving. Nice pair, I wouldn’t mind them myself!

For me, the Munro didn’t work at all–my toes didn’t show through!–and the cut wasn’t as flattering with on me as the Arche. The Arche has one more “strip” (what do you call it?) and comes up higher on the ankle. I also think the suede on the Arche is much nicer. But yeah, the price is very high! (I put in a gel metatarsal pad and they are very comfortable.)

I actually just got a Nordstrom card so I could shop the sale early, but haven’t ordered anything yet! Any more coat/jacket suggestions? I am considering going to Paris in late September/early-mid October and fear my raincoat plus layers might not be warm enough…

I’ve had this Munroe sandal for a while and took it to Europe. I walked miles in it and it was very, very comfortable. My only issue is that when I took them off, my feet were stained grey from the suede and literally had to be scrubbed with a brush to come clean. But comfort-wise? Can’t beat them.

I seem to be the only person who can’t wear Arches. May try the Munros–my mom’s comfort shoe. Just back from a long trip–with very shabby shoes.

Love these sandals on you, especially with that blue pedicure, it makes the whole look pop. The sales are fun, aren’t they. Yet dangerous…

I bought the Munro sandals yesterday at Nordstrom in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are cute, comfy, and on sale; thank you for the recommendation!

I’d already ordered the Vince “strapping” pants and the Smythe blazer with leather patch sleeves before I saw them listed here. Nice to see they made your “picks” list. 🙂

Just returned from two weeks in Paris on Thursday, and I saw many women carrying the Longchamp Pliage tote. There were even a few on “soldes” at the duty free shop at CDG for about 44euro. I was tempted but the colors weren’t neutral (blues and oranges).

I bought these from Zappos: terrifically comfortable and they look fantastic with everything.
