Room With A View

Dana Point
Early morning, Pacific Ocean

It’s been an absolutely crazy week, but we knew we had this getaway scheduled for the weekend to look forward to. We’ve camped out at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, just a couple hours drive South in Friday rush hour traffic to have a bit of down time and celebrate our anniversary . I’ve never been here before and it’s just gorgeous!

The big goal line we crossed this week, other than 18 years of wedded bliss (or Happy Headlock as we like to call it) was to finally get all of the papers signed off to transfer le jeune homme to the new school. Yesterday was his last day at the public high school; he’ll have a week off for spring break and then start at the new school on April 1. You can only imagine the relief we’re feeling, and we have our fingers crossed that he’ll be happier there and display less aggression and frustration.

Hope you are having a Bon weekend!
