Run, Don’t Walk!

Rouge Coco, “Jersey Rose” (Color is actually a wee bit lighter than it looks here.)

This color (Jersey Rose, #77) is SO pretty on!  It’s pink, but not too jeune fille, and seems to be fairly neutral, not too warm or cool.  This one is a seasonal limited edition, and apparently selling fast.  I really like the Rouge Coco formula as it’s very hydrating without a lot of shine or shimmer, parfait pour les femmes d’un certain age.  If this color sounds like your tasse du thé, don’t hesitate or you might miss it!

Here’s what prompted me to go check out this lippie for myself (starting about 5:28 in):

Isn’t she adorable??

  1. I love her! Of course I couldn’t understand a thing she said, but she certainly made her point. I’ll be going to the mall tonight in search of Jersey Rose. I think it’s just what I’ve been looking for.

  2. I will give this one a try! Dior Serum de Rouge made my lips peel like crazy (the Dior palette had the light rose, just like Jersey Rose).
A oui, elle est très ravissante! xxx

  3. She reminds me of the little girl from the YouTube video, the little French girl who talks about the hippopotamus. Her French was a little too fast for me and too colloquial, but I love the lipstick:).

  4. Beautiful color! Sadly, the Rouge Coco formula dries out my lips. I’m completely stuck on Ellis Faas lipstick these days (brand from the Netherlands, really good, but pricey).

  5. Wow, she really took a long time setting the eye shadow on!
Chanel has beautiful colors, yum. Thank you for the show Deja!

  6. It’s always impossible to get the limited edition stuff here – I failed with the khaki nailpolish … But it looks like my perfect pink, so I might just see if I can find out if and when it will hit Sydney.

  7. Damnit, stop recommending things that I now have to buy! Fabulous stuff like this very rarely reaches Perth but I’ll keep my beady eyes open.

  8. Beautiful color!

Chanel and Dior. My “go-to” for almost everything! I will say, I’ve been a die-hard Dior for the eyes woman for years.

About 60 seconds to do it all – and it’s always a great result.

  9. Watched the entire piece and understood un peu (sp?) at most but loved it. Now I’m going to play with my makeup on a cold snowy Sunday afternoon.

Is she a paid spokesperson? Her Youtube channel (or is it Chanel) is in French.

  10. I just returned from the cosmetics store, 77 was too pale for my new “blonde me”. I was a dark brunette for decades and now, being blonde, I need to change my perception of myself. i can wear more flashy colours, acutally I need them. The sales assistant watched me, trying the 77, noticing I was not too happy with the result and suggested nr 85, coquette. And yes, flashy it is. Here you can see a review:

Anyhow, thank you for bringing up the important topic: SS 2011 maquillage 🙂
