Les Cadeaux: Shop Small

cashmere scarves, cashmere wraps

While I do encourage you to patronize your favorite local businesses today (and every day), sometimes we need to search further afield and I wanted to give a shout out to some of my favorite online small businesses.

L’affaire cashmere offers gorgeous and very reasonably priced cashmere and wool scarves, stoles and throws. Their cashmere is sourced from high-altitude regions of Kashmir in India, Nepal and Tibet. Most of the pieces are woven on handlooms. They offer free shipping worldwide, and the scarves arrive in gift-ready boxes. The quality of the cashmere is truly wonderful. I have several l’affaire cashmere pieces and am always complimented on them.

Covered Perfectly, plus-size tops

Pauline at Covered Perfectly set out to create tops that fit and flatter our bodies as they change, and she’s really onto something! The tops are attractive, made in the USA, washable and well-priced. Her houndstooth top has become one of my favorites! She’s recently added a Plus-Size line too, with many styles and colors available.

Great choices for Shopping Small today. I think I’ll wear a Karina dress, and have a look at the sale as well!

Love Karina dresses! I believe it was your blog that introduced me to them. Will check out the other sites too.
