What I Love This Week: Gadgets, Household Helpers & More

Just a few bits and bobs I’ve been wanting to mention…

I can always count on my sister to find some simple but great gadgets! When she came to visit last month, she brought me one of these…

Sur la table silicone jar scraper in red.

Jar scraper

This silicone jar scraper not only gets every last bit out of the jar, but is also great for spreading, and stirring up that freshly opened jar of natural peanut butter.

It’s all one piece, with no nooks and crannies to collect mildew or “gunk” and is dishwasher-safe!

Cloth napkins

I’ve been meaning to replace my everyday cloth napkins, so added these to the my cart. They’re a cotton-linen blend, and have a casual/rustic vibe that’s perfect for summer entertaining.

(This jacquard floral set is also quite fun & summery!)

Microfiber windshield cleaner

Microfiber Windshield Cleaner

This is another Sis-recommended gadget that really does come in handy. If you tend to drive with windows closed and climate control on, the inside of your windshield can get a bit grimy over time. This cleans it right up, and the outside too (just moisten the washable microfiber heads).

While traveling in April, I began using the Complete Skin Renewal Serum, and really noticed an improvement in my skin. Now I’ve added the Illuminate & Contour Moisturizer and love it too! These two products work really well together. Save when you purchase the set!

  1. A gentle reminder? Given the amount of microplastics in our world (and in our bodies), I encourage all of us to be thoughtful when purchasing items that may not truly be necessary

  2. I love your “bits and bobs”posts! Thanks to those posts I have wonderful wool dryer balls, a great air purifier (it really does remove kitchen odors and fast) and soon, a jar scraper. Thx, Susan!
