leopard wide width flats
Stuart Weitzman

For those who wear a wide-width shoe, I’ve found some options worth checking out at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Above, these leopard print haircalf flats from Stuart Weitzman have an ombre effect that makes the print more subtle and unique.I think a pair of leopard flats is a wardrobe essential. These would look good with jeans or pants or even skirts. Stuart Weitzman shoes are an investment, but in my experience a sound one. I have a few pairs that are hitting (or have passed) the decade mark that I wear regularly and still look great.

t-strap studded wide width flat
Halogen

These T-strap flats from Halogen are available in a Wide width, and seem to be well-padded in the footbed. I love this “eelskin” finish which looks very cool and makes the shoes look more luxe.

red wide-width sandal on sale
Munro

There are several styles from Munro included in the sale that are available up to WW widths, including this slingback sandal.

I also found some nice wide calf riding boots:

This classic wide-calf riding boot from Børn is also available in a burnished dark brown. See all Anniversary Sale Wide-Calf boots here.

I did some in-store reconnaissance yesterday and have added some new items to my Sale Picks below. You can also see all of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks (grouped by item type: clothing, shoes, bags/accessories, and beauty) on my SHOP page. Just a reminder, if you are Nordstrom cardholder you can shop now, and the sale will be open to everyone on July 17th.

Next week I’ll show you a few pieces I couldn’t resist. 😉

  1. Susan did you try on those Rag and Bone pants? They look awfully skinny! Or maybe the EF pants? (maybe more my style…..?)

    1. sybes1, they didn’t have either in my local store in my size, so I’ve ordered both to try and will report back! 🙂

    1. These come from narrow-narrow to wide-wide, and sizes 4 to 14! I love them too, especially in red.

Pseu, do you have a pair? They look very comfy, but the heel is a bit higher than I’m used to in a walking sandal (I’m fine with chunky heels; find them more comfy than true flats).

    2. I own those Munro “Abby” sandals, and they are super, super comfortable. And I am not a person who wears high heels. I’m tempted to get them in a second color.

  2. LOVE leopard flats, but as they always seem to be calf hair, my driving foot’s heel (right) wears out and looks shabby in very short order! Tried switching out driving shoes at upon arriving at destination ( really ?) and dabbing on permanent markers in an approximation of leopard (big miss and mess)!

  3. I just bought those Munro Slingback sandals in Golden Taupe and wore them to a wedding today. So comfy! Love Munro and can only buy it on sale. I need a wide-calf riding boot, but the shaft on all of them is too long for me. Tried on loads, but no luck for the short-legged.

  4. I like the leopard flat. The gray background would work into my wardrobe nicely. Even on sale that’s more than I’ll spring for shoes. They’re a good color combination and I’ll bet someone will knock them off in the upcoming months. I’ll keep an eye out 🙂

  5. Love Munro and have the slingback in black and golden taupe. have been wanting a red shoe all season and maybe will spring for the Munro’s on sale now. They are THE BEST!!!!

  6. While I love Leopard garments on others (especially Pseu) they aren’t really my thing. They make me waver between gruesome thoughts of wearing my 19-year-old tomcat, Renzo, or twee thoughts of being a terminal catlady, with cat cups, cat paintings, cat pillows and the rest of twee cat parephenalia. Neither appeals.

    Now, red shoes…
