I’ve had a chance to get a little deeper into the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview, and found some additional items you might want to check out. I’ll be taking a lap through our local store today as well, to see if there’s anything else that catches my eye.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks
Just a reminder, some pieces do sell out quickly, but may either be returned or restocked during the course of the sale. If you see something you like but it’s sold out in your preferred color or size, just bookmark it and keep checking back.
Wear it now
While the focus of the Anniversary Sale is “new for fall,” there are quite a few items that you can wear now (and into fall).
This cotton shirt dress can be worn loose or pulled in with your favorite belt. If it’s warm, you can easily roll up those sleeves…
Seeing stars…if you’re bored with stripes and florals, a star print is classic but not stuffy.
This draped asymmetric hem skirt (also offered in a dark olive, “Juniper”) could dress up or down. (Pair it with the matching tank for an easy wedding-guest look.)
I love a straw tote for summer! That quilted leather patch is a small pocket to stash keys, phone, or other small items.
The colored beads give this layered necklace a summery feel…I think this would look so good with a simple, solid tee shirt.

Standout shoes
Ohhhh, if I didn’t have too many shoes already, I’d be all over these! I love that cork finish, but there are other colors in a suede finish too.
I love the round heel and bow detail on these sandals! The blue suede is fun, but it’s also offered in 3 neutral colors.
Lug-soled loafers (and boots) seem to be on-trend for fall, and it’s a style I love. This fun snake print style is also water-resistant.
If you prefer a more traditional loafer style, these have a fun chain buckle detail. (Also in black and off-white.)
This lug sole bootie has a top zip for easy off-on. It’s waterproof and under $100!
This sleek chelsea boot has a fun square heel. Four colors offered; I think this black reptile is quite chic.

Wardrobe basics
There are a lot of good Eileen Fisher basics included in this sale. I was happy to see the travel-friendly stretch crepe ankle pants included (Plus here).
A shorter cardigan pairs nicely with this season’s wider leg pants. This one is a budget-friendly option, offered in several neutral shades.

I’ve been wearing this style of jeans (slim boyfriend) more than any other for the last several months. If I were going to add another pair to my wardrobe for fall, it would probably be one in a dark-medium wash like these.
If you prefer a higher rise, these Madewell “perfect vintage” jeans are quite good (and well under $100 during the sale). Also available in Plus.
Many of you have mentioned that you prefer a v-neck or scoopneck tee to a crewneck. This one with a rounded v-neck is offered in over a dozen colors (and some stripes and prints). Plus here.

I almost sailed right past this, as the packaging has changed (now in an easy refill pouch, hooray!!!) This is still my favorite body lotion!
Le Monsieur has an earlier version of this cabin bag that he uses as his “personal item” for air travel, and let me tell you, it holds a LOT. It’s very durable, and the company offers a lifetime repair guarantee.
And I always pick up a bottle of the Delicates Fabric Wash during the sale. I use this for all of my lingerie and delicates, including silk tops.

Really like the variety of your NAS picks. Love the mustard lug loafers and will try those out + several other items you’ve showcased. Not sure how I will style the loafers so I look forward to seeing some style ideas for those.

Two items on my wish list are already sold out, and I don’t have access until Friday July 16! So disappointing.
That is disappointing, but don’t give up yet. Keep them on your wishlist and keep checking back throughout the sale.
I used to look forward to the NAS but now it is a bit disappointing. Perhaps it’s my style, a casual classic look, no ripped/faded jeans or tops for me, my size – a true petite proportion; very small offering in petites though sometimes I can wear a misses if I size down. Perhaps it’s the photography, as someone previously commented the pictures are often not very flattering, more like mug shots. There isn’t even jewelry, fine or otherwise, that catches my eye. I’ve put a few things on my wish list, some already sold out. I can’t shop until Friday so I’ll see what’s still available but don’t hold my breath for a very successful experience.
That’s a good description of the photos, “mug shots”. That seems to be a trend lately. It’s like they’re trying to make the clothes look as unappealing as possible! I honestly don’t understand why.
