I am impressed with your using ten pound weights. I am doing Silver Sneakers workouts now that I am retired and they have really helped with some of the issues I have had with pelvis floor strength. But I can only manage three pound weights to lift. Did it take long to work up to 10? I would love to hear more about your workouts
Hi Jeanne, thanks! I mostly use the 10 lbs for moves that don’t have full overhead extension. Or I use a single 10 lb dumbbell held sideways. I started off with 3’s and 5’s and it took me a few months to get up to 10’s. I also have a 15 lb kettlebell that I use for some of the lower-body moves.
